Springburn Food Hub - Adult Gardening Sessions

Springburn Food Hub is part of North Glasgow Community Food Initiative.

Are you interested in learning to grow your own fruit or vegetables or interested in looking after a garden? Come and join us on our plot in Springburn Allotments and help us to grow tasty fruit and veggies for the community. No experience necessary and all skill-levels welcome!

Our gardening sessions focus on enhancing individual’s overall well-being, building skills, confidence and countering social isolation. Furthermore, valuable skills are gained; as well as a sense of purpose and increased ownership of the community gardens.

These sessions are a welcoming space providing support for community members who are grappling with mental ill health such as anxiety, agoraphobia, depression and PTSD; as well as community members in addiction recovery; people with learning difficulties; and people who are neurodivergent.
